Returning to college after a failed marriage has Joanna Lawson feeling overwhelmed. Her professor suggests she ask a classmate for help, pointing her in Kurt's direction.

Joanna has seen the way the shy, mysterious young man looks at her during class. She meets up with Kurt after class and is able to convince him to tutor her before their upcoming midterm.

They meet in the library for a late night study session and things quickly heat up as Joanna makes her move. She soon finds herself tutoring the inexperienced youth in the ways of love-making.

After their steamy rendezvous, they make plans to see each other again and see where the relationship takes them. Unfortunately, Joanna is not completely free of her past.
