I grew up in West Michigan, and am married with two grown children. I held various offices with the Grand Rapids Region Writers Group, the last being President.

I currently live in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, where I founded another writers group. Beside writing, I spend my time reading, cooking, baking, quilting and making things for my grandchildren.
