When Jean's eyes locked with those of a smooshy-faced little dog who sat inside a kennel at the Humane Society, it was love at first sight. He captured her heart, and she captured their many adventures in short story poems for kids, starring Zuggy the Rescue Pug. Jean is the leader of people engagement at the Pikes Peak Humane Society by day and a writer by night. She loves to touch readers' hearts with delightful stories about her canine companions. She and her husband are advocates for the adoption of senior dogs, or as they like to call them, 'vintage puppies.' They currently live in Colorado with their three fur kids and joke that although the humans pay the mortgage, it is really the dogs' house!Would you like Jean to come and speak at one of your events?
