Alison Armstrong loves Nature and the creatures she has encountered there in her northern Ohio childhood, later in the west of Ireland, in Oxfordshire while she was earning a post-grad degree in English literature at Oxford, the Hudson Valley in upstate New York, and in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania.
