Autorenporträt
My name is Levitt Yaffe and I grew up in New York City. In fourth grade, I was diagnosed with dyslexia. The following year, I transferred to Mary McDowell Friends School which specializes in helping students cope and thrive with learning disabilities. The initial impetus of the story that became Two: The Tale of Light and Darkness began one afternoon in sixth grade after I had completed assignments in English class. To this day, I never imagined myself becoming an author, since getting my ideas out on a page was always a difficult task. I will be forever thankful to all the teachers who challenged me into finding strategies to become a successful student. I graduated from Marist College with a degree in communications and psychology. When I am not writing, I am the drummer for my band, Nautics. Our music is available online on all the different streaming services. Completing this book proves that even with a hurdle like dyslexia, if you are really passionate about something, then go for it. I hope that you have enjoyed reading my story and have been inspired to do something you love even if it seems daunting or impossible.
