But he soon learns that being a child star isn't as glamorous as he thought. He misses his mother's cooking and even starts to miss his brothers. But he isn't quite ready to go back home just yet. He finds that he has a new best friend and becomes interested in a girl. But when things don't work out, he decides to use his last wish to go back to his old life. He wakes up in his old room with his mom sitting at his bedside as he recovers from a high fever.

This story shows how children sometimes try too hard to get their parent's attention and that if they're patient, they will get their fair share of their parents' time.
