Autorenporträt
Now retired from a busy working life that didn't allow much artistic creativity I'm revelling in doing something I love. I trained as a scientist and it's such a joy to think I might be able to write creatively.
I've always read crime novels and it seemed the natural genre in which to write. My early teenage years were spent working my way through my father's bookshelves crammed with Mickey Spillane, Raymond Chandler, Agatha Christie and Dorothy L Sayers, although now I enjoy Ian Rankin, Peter Robinson and Elizabeth George.
