"Rose Lucas is a Melbourne poet, writer and academic and currently teaches poetry and editing at Victoria University, Melbourne. She is also Principal at thetextfactor, which offers Guided Book Clubs to parents of VCE English students. Lucas previously taught in the English department at Monash University for twenty years, and is is widely published in the scholarly areas of women's poetry, feminism, psychoanalysis and literary theory, and cinema studies."
