Rose Chen spent her childhood and early teens in warm and tropical Borneo where she read any Mills and Boon she could lay her hands on. She loves writing about alpha males and has so far written about two dukes, an Assistant District Attorney and a neurosurgeon - all brunettes, because she likes them tall, dark and smoking hot. She also adores her heroines who never fail to give as good as they get.

Rose is currently writing about a college hockey team because well, ice hockey and alpha males. Really, what's not to like? She lives in hope that 'chopsticks lit', the subgenre of chick-lit featuring Asian couples which she has created, takes off, because there is nothing more fun than writing about meddling Chinese mothers and food, glorious food.
