He witnessed the unlawful charging and dismissal of many black and coloured police officers on false charges, while the crimes of white police officers who committed real serious offenses were covered up.
He documented a lot of those incidents and cases, going back as far as 1996, as evidence of what is happening in the justice system. He is of the view that SAPS and the justice department have failed many black and coloured police officers, as well as many ordinary people, and that they continue to do so.
