I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. In April of 1983, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), at the age of thirteen. Being diagnosed with cancer was a shock to me and my family, an experience that changed my life forever. Even though I was diagnosed with cancer over 36 years ago, 4/4/1983, I remember that day like it was yesterday. I want to share the story of my "unknown journey ahead" to help others who are fighting cancer right now. Also, I made a promise to myself in 1988, when I was considered "cured", to raise money for cancer research. Proceeds of this book will go towards cancer research and programs for cancer patients.
