Autorenporträt
Over six feet tall, beautiful, funny and famously well-organized, Wendy was the third of seven children and always at the centre of her own family's life. Wendy had a career of more than 30 years but it was creativity and travel that was central to her life. A writer, photographer, and visual artist, she constantly recorded the world around her and the world of her rich imagination. She co-wrote and whimsically illustrated a blog called "The Boomer Sisters Hang Up Their Spurs." She also wrote several novels including Unlucky or Not, which she finished in the last months of her life. Born on August 28, 1956, Wendy succumbed to her battle with cancer at her home in Port Hope, Ontario, lovingly surrounded by her family and her cherished dog, Penny. She was a talented and creative soul and a blessing to everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love, creativity and humour.
