Autorenporträt

Henry Joe Sakala is Zambia's award winning writer, actor, filmmaker, poet and cartoonist. He has vast experience in theatre having penned award-winning plays like Living with the Enemy, The Last Steps, Judas Affair and Town Boy. In 2005, he wrote and starred in a feature film entitled Silent Voice. The film helped revive the Zambian film industry and ushered Sakala into the world of film making. To his credit he has written, produced and starred in numerous films and TV dramas such as Survivors, Brothers, The Dancers, When the Curtain Falls, Street Circles, Redemption, Rewind, Guns and Rings, Judas Affair, LSK Heroes, Land Wrangles, and Reflection of Sadness. In this book, he unmasks his other passion, poetry and short story writing. Get to know his deeper thoughts and emotions in these writings. Passing the Bone and Night Nurse are the two short stories in this collection, which get spiced up with a collection of his poems.
