Ms. Nickum is an award-winning author for her magazine articles (Outdoor Writers Association of America) and for Book 1 in her Strong Women Series (Historical Fiction). She has now been named as the Executive Editor of The Socialist magazine. She resides in Fountain Hills, Arizona with her husband. She has two grown sons.
