Autorenporträt
Dr. Homayun Ahmadi is a medical doctor, married with a family of five. He had practiced in both Afghanistan and Pakistan before arriving to Australia in July 2003. A conscientious worker and humanist, Dr. Ahmadi`s work is focused on helping those with the greatest needs. He became a member of the Afghan Human Rights Organization. He also worked with "Rural Development of Maihen" (RDM) as a facilitator and lecturer in their Teacher Training Workshops and became a member of the Drug Awareness Program for Afghan Refugees. In addition, Dr. Ahmadi's interest in sports led him to train in Martial Arts and, in turn, to then train a new generation. He is the author of some twenty books in many languages on topics ranging from health and sports to religion and social issues.
