The emergence of the special copy of Vancouvers journals causes President Ray Cartwright to re-examine the unique Sir Francis Drake document he bought years ago. Is it really legitimate? Barry Stewart is a collector of antiquarian books and maps and an avid reader of history related to the early exploration of northwest America and the Arctic. He divides his time between Alberta, British Columbia, and Arizona. He has previously published Across the Land . . . a Canadian Journey of Discovery, which describes Canada's people, places, history, and idiosyncrasies; and Drake's Dilemma, the prequel to Vancouver's Vengeance.
