Nació en Bayamo, Cuba. Desde el año 2000 vive en Elizabeth, NJ, Estados Unidos. Es educadora en una cadena de hospitales impartiendo clases de resucitación cardiovascular y otras técnicas médicas, enseñando a salvar vidas, así como dirigiendo su propio negocio llevando estas clases a escuelas y otros lugares donde necesitan su certificación. Desde pequeña escribe poemas, cuentos infantiles, para adultos, y ha ganado diferentes premios de literatura, también ha publicado libros de poemas e infantiles. A Madelin le apasiona la lectura y escribir es tan importante para ella como respirar; sus cuentos están llenos de magia y aventuras, pero siempre, sobre todo, de enseñanzas.
