Jamie Gilham is Honorary Research Associate in the Department of History at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is the author of Loyal Enemies: British Converts to Islam, 1850-1950. Ron Geaves is Visiting Professor in the Department of History, Archaeology and Religion, based in the Centre for the Study of Islam in the UK at Cardiff University. He is the author of Islam in Victorian Britain: The Life and Times of Abdullah Quilliam, along with other books on contemporary Islam.
