B. J. Haynes is semi-retired and lives in Lincolnshire. He is a freelance writer and published his first book Road to Elysium on the travel industry in 2003. He has written articles for trade magazines and has a weekly newpsaper column. This is his first novel, inspired by a sign in a shop window that said, "never laugh at other people's dreams".
