Autorenporträt
William Hopper and Richard Day are lifelong residents of Vincennes. Mr. Hopper, an elementary school principal, is active in government, tourism, and the arts, and is well known for his collection of Vincennes postcards. Mr. Day is recognized as the city's most distinguished historian. A former professor of English at Vincennes University, he now works at Vincennes State Historical Sites, and serves as the city's official host, portraying the "Sieur de Vincennes," the eponymous founder of the city.
