Autorenporträt
Ravi Inder Singh is Professor in Finance at University Business School, Ludhiana. He completed Masters in Commerce from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Masters in Business Administration from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. Prof. Singh is also a certified associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, Mumbai. He has contributed a large number of research papers to national and international journals of high repute. He has edited two books and chaired technical sessions in important national and international conferences and seminars. Dr. Singh is a member of Senate, Panjab University, Chandigarh and member of Board of Studies of various institutes of high repute and is a member of a large number of other important academic and research committees. Pooja Sikka is Assistant Professor in Economics at the University Institute of Laws, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana. She received a fellowship from University Grants Commission to pursue her Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of Economics, Punjabi University, Patiala. Throughout her academic career, she has maintained a high standard of achievement and has received a number of scholarships. Apart from fourteen years of dedicated teaching, she has to her credit one edited book and about a dozen publications in books and reputed journals. Her research interests include Economic Growth and Development, Poverty and Income Inequality and Public Policy.
