Autorenporträt
LIU Xiyun () was born in 1994 and has long lived in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. She attempted creating novels at age 11 and published articles in both Chinese and English on national newspapers and literature reviews, expressing her concerns and thinking about the ultimate destiny of humanity. In high school, she composed her English maiden work Parallel Universe - Time Ahead of Ours (originally called Parallel Universe with Time in front of Ours), and her writing an English novel was reported serially by the local mainstream media. Paul Wingfield, Tutor for Admissions of Trinity College, University of Cambridge, left a praising remark, saying that "we greatly enjoyed reading your book on 'Parallel Universe with time in front of Ours' which we thought showed signs of real scholarly promise and ability". In her first year at university, she created Void in an explorative form.
