Just like any war there are good days and bad days, but it is a constant fight for survival. This is a battle women go through every morning when they wake up until the time they lay their heads down to sleep at night. Each WAR is different whether it is neglect (the spouse is not home much and leaves the woman open and vulnerable), physical (the spouse puts his hands on the woman, throws objects at or in the direction of the woman), emotional (the spouse constantly puts down the woman, spouse is very controlling) or a combination. All of them end up being a spiritual battle.

This book is about a spiritual journey that was taken from the lowest point in her life to where she is now, all while attending school and getting her PhD. Her experience in an abusive relationship with children has lead her through a windy path with ups and downs until finally she reached the light. She used this low point in her life to draw closer to the Lord and guide her to this point in her life that she is able to talk about her experience and hopefully help others that are involved or have been involved in abusive relationships.
