Rusty was Born in Vicksburg, Miss. He grew up working in his family-owned supermarket Business. He was an all-around athlete who played almost every sport, well into his college days. Rusty was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing as well as anything outdoors. He attended Ole Miss where he was a member Of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was the Social Chairman of the Fraternity. He graduated with a degree in Integrated Marketing in 1978. Rusty was involved in commercial real estate land development as well as apparel sales before his divorce in 2007. He got back into sports and became a Professional Power Walker Marathoner. Rusty started Global Productions as well as a Walking Man Apparel line. Rusty lives in Oxford, MS. where he continues to Train, inspiring others not to quit and write.
