The walks, all easily accessible from Kirkby Stephen, Sedburgh, Pateley Bridge and Aysgarth, range from 5 to 19km (312 miles) and can be enjoyed in 25 hours. Several walks can be combined with another to create a longer route.

Since their first Cicerone title in 1995, they have written over 35 guides and regularly contribute to various outdoor magazines.
