Autorenporträt
Jerry Wilde is a professor of educational psychology for Indiana University East.  Prior to this academic appointment, he worked as a psychologist where he counseled children who had emotional, behavioral, and learning difficulties.  He is best known for his popular book Hot Stuff to Help Kids Chill Out which is designed to help readers learn to manage their anger.  He and his wife, Polly, live in Richmond, Indiana with their children, Anna and Jack. A documentary movie (18 Hours) about Jerry Wilde’s story is being completed as this book went to press.  18 Hours was directed by Dr. James Barbre III, a colleague from Indiana University East.  Please search under the film’s title at websites such as www.vimeo.com and www.youtube.com to watch portions of 18 Hours.
