Henry B. Carrington (1824 - 1912) was a lawyer, professor, prolific author, and officer in the United States Army during the American Civil War and in the Old West during Red Cloud's War. He created several works on the American Revolution, Great Plains Indian War, and other conflicts and published military maps and charts.
