Autorenporträt

Samira has been searching for strong female protagonists since the age of two when she insisted the fairy-tale be changed to the far more compelling "Lisa and the Beanstalk".

She studied Creative Writing and English Literature at the University of Wollongong. She

was shortlisted for the Write It Penguin Fellowship for 2020. She lives on Gadigal land and teaches language and literacy to students with learning difficulties, while writing in her free time.
