Autorenporträt

Moonda Ortiz received her B.A. in English from Indiana University and worked as a typesetter, graphic artist, book compositor, book designer, secretary, and waitress. The facilitator of a writing group for many years, Moonda (aka Kathy O) is also an accomplished bead and mosaic artist. She is working on a collection of short stories and has published a visionary tale, We Remembered All the Light as well as a delightful children's book, Bone Sees the World, illustrated by her daughter, Kati Poe (see tabs). She currently resides in Austin, Texas, with her cheerful husband and grumbling cat. Imago is her first book of poetry.
