She commenced teaching hospitality courses at Schiller and the University of West Florida, Pensacola, FL, and Gulf Coast State College, Panama City, FL, and retiring in 2023. Her interests include travel. She and her late husband, Bill, took a five-year sojourn RVing full-time through forty-five states. They also cruised to many ports of call worldwide. She says, 'Singapore and New Zealand were, by far, her favorites.'
