Mckenzie is a young mother of her two children Brooks and Kenora. Mckenzie grew up traveling often and living in different places giving her a unique perspective and experience. In 2022 she and her family moved to a small town outside of Edmonton Alberta, where she began her writing while on maternity leave. Writing has been a passion of Mckenzie's since she was a child. She is thrilled to be helping children and parents alike with fun and meaningful books. Mckenzie is part of the lgbtqia2s+ community and is an ally. Her books are inclusive and are meant for everybody. Mckenzie takes pride in her mixed heritage and makes an effort for readers to feel represented and accepted.
