Edward W. Pluemer is a retired businessman, transplanted from Chicago, and now living in San Pedro, California, with his wife, Linda. He is a born and raised Chicagoan and a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, and the city and the baseball club both belonged in the storyline of this book. Edward W. Pluemer's first book, Shout Out, published by Xlibris LLC in 2015, also took place in and around the greater Chicago area.
