Kristina Van Dyk spent the last 15 years working as a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles and NYC styling advertising campaigns for companies like Walmart, Google, Apple, Subaru, Buick, Skechers, Aquafina, Weight Watchers, and many more. The most significant work in Kristina's career was styling and working with children. The time spent engaging and working with children on set opened her eyes to what kids in this generation really need. Ultimately, they desire to be loved, accepted and heard, and to have tools to express what they are feeling. During her career in the fashion industry, Kristina felt God call her to work with kids overseas. She began doing missions trips to third world locations including Bangladesh, Calcutta, India, Indonesia, Tanzania, Zambia and Malawi. On these trips she spoke at women's conferences and taught Art, English and entrepreneurship in schools and orphanages. She taught kids to express what they are feeling inside through the use of art, specifically abstract art. The ideas for What Color Do You Feel? emerged from the countless hours on set with kids and during her global travels.
