The story was written for a Sunday school children in response to the untimely deaths of their classmates when a tornado hit Coldenham Elementary School, near Newburg NY. But the illustrations were not completed until after children lost loved ones in WTC 9/11/01, were massacred in a school in Beslan, slaughtered by terrorist in Baghdad and then finally wiped out in only an instant by 2005 Tsunami. Every child wonders what happens when someone dies. "What is Heaven Like" tells a story about the possibility of real peace, harmony, equality and joy for the future and paints a beautiful picture of a place God has prepared for those that love Him!
