I hope this book of poetry will be a source of inspiration and encouragement to everyone who reads it. It has an astonishing way of relating life to nature with a Biblical aspect. "Let the Leaves Fall", "Storms", and "The Forest Runs Deep" focus on some natural things in life, things that most people take for granted, and gives a deeper meaning to life and its relationship to nature.

"Do You See the Light in the Rain?" "Have You Heard the Wild Birds Sing?" and "As the World Turns" tell about the simple things in life and the gifts that God blessed us with. "The Village", "Privilege", and "The Searching Heart" focus on life's lessons. "Hold to Your Faith" and "Fire Flame" focus on the Biblical aspect of faith and character.

The poems in this book have an amazing way of capturing your imagination about life. You will probably say that you never thought of things like this. They open a positive doorway into reality for the reader.

Autorenporträt
I was born in Northeastern North Carolina. I am the youngest of six children born to the Late Elmer Lee {Bus} Rumble and Melindia Felton Rumble. I was born in Chowan County, but later on my parents moved to Perquimans County. I spent my childhood basically in what I call Per/Chow County. As a child, I enjoyed playing with my siblings and working in the garden with my father and siblings. Going to church with my parents was a big part of my life. Different family members would tell us their favorite Bible story or stories about their childhood. My love for poetry developed when I was in sixth grade. My teacher would give us poems by various authors on Monday and we would have to recite the poems each Friday. It was then I developed my appreciation of poetry. Years later, after I graduated from high school, I started writing poems on my own. Sometimes, I would recite my poems to different family members. After graduating from high school, I lived in several places. After getting married, I moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I lived for twenty-one years. I am the mother of two biological adult sons and two other sons.In 2014, God blessed me to return to North Carolina to take care of my mother. Once back home in Northeastern part North Carolina, I was able to recapture my ¿rst love, writing poetry.I thank God, my parents, and my "Village" for what they instilled in me as I was growing up and for any success that I have achieved in my life today.
