Britt Hallowell is an award winning artist featured in advertising campaigns, galleries, restaurants and personal collections around the world. "What Makes You Special?" is her debut children's book, which she wrote and illustrated based on her original painting titled "Wishing on Stars: the Unicorn of the Sea", which features the hero of the story, Little Narwhal. Britt lives outside of Columbus, Ohio with her husband and daughter. She loves painting, traveling, family, and a good glass of wine.
