What does the future hold? This question concerns many people in these days of uncertainty. This book shows how the Bible answers that. What does the future hold? This question concerns many people in these days of uncertainty. This book shows how the Bible answers that. From its first pages it looks towards the future appointed by God. Ruin in Eden will give way to perfection in the new heaven and earth. Paradise lost will be paradise regained - only far better. The critical agent is Jesus Christ. He infallibly secures God's eternal plan. In him the journey to the ultimate Promised Land will be completed. Temporal things will give way to final things. Like navigation charts, the Biblical books reveal the points of progress along the way: the landmarks, the deeps, the safe channels, and the reefs where men get shipwrecked. By examining these things, this book will assist readers to understand issues like:- - Where do we go when we die? - What is the binding of Satan? - What is the mark of the beast? - When is the return of Christ? - How is the 'just like the days of Noah'? - What happens on Judgement Day? - What status has ethnic Israel? This book is committed to 'big-picture' interpretation. As well as honouring all the grammatical and contextual data, each part of the Bible must be interpreted in harmony with the whole.
