Autorenporträt
Gifted poet, certified life coach, mental health advocate and the author, Wendye Savage began writing at an early age. She penned award winning poetry in various poetry contests held at St John Baptist Church in Buffalo, New York. She also penned a weekly poetry column for six years in The Jasper Sun Times, as well as a poetry column in Bronze magazine online, for one year. Wendye is no stranger to adversity. She has been delivered from a history of Major Depression, abuse, and low self-esteem. As a women's empowerment leader, she seeks to encourage women who find themselves lacking in self-love and confidence. She feels we can't rewrite our history but can change our thinking to become healthier. A trained representer for The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Wendye has shared her books and testimony on various radio and television broadcasts and magazine in hopes to reduce stigma concerning Mental Illness. Wendye is also the author of two inspiring books of poetry. (One Sweet Day) and ( After the Rain).
