Declan Colley is a journalist with over thirty years' experience, having worked in Wexford and Dublin prior to moving to Cork to work for the Irish Examiner where, for the last ten years, he was Deputy Sports Editor. Early in 2010, he left the Examiner fold to pursue a career as a freelance writer. He lives in Cork with his wife, Mairead, and their dog, Dollie.
