I started noticing things that I had overlooked because I was always on the go. It's amazing how life can take you through global economic disruption and mass environmental health challenges, and bring you peace at the same time. Truthfully speaking COVID, although heartbreaking, provided me an opportunity to take a much-needed break, and allowed me time and space to fully rest. In my stillness, I was inspired to write by so many things. There is a story behind every single poem in the book When Life Speaks Vol 2 and I happily share them with you.Unlike the original literary work, When Life Speaks Vol 2 was written from a more mature mindset. Pieces like The Awakening and God's Playlist are not just poems, they are affirmations.
