Eventually he concedes that only one person has both the intelligence and the integrity to help him decipher the secret of the map: his father, Professor Nicodemus Boffin, from whom Blackguard ran away from many years ago. Will the professor put aside years of estrangement in hopes that working with his son will bring around a reconciliation? And if they find the secret of the map, what will the treasure turn out to be?
