Jeremy had to go to the funeral to honor his uncle Jim, who had taught him so much about horses and life in general. Jerry Kuttler is a Colorado native with a passion for horses and the Wild West. He grew up in Aurora, Colorado, where he used to ride his horse, Honey, on the back roads along Havana Street with his sister, Janet. It was a treat to ride the horses across the plains, then take off the saddles and give them a gentle shower in a horse shower at the stables. There is nothing more satisfying than a happy horse. These were just some of the adventures that kept the love for horses alive within Janet and Jerry. This book is meant to share the happiness that makes horses so worthwhile. Jerry now lives in Iowa with his wife of twenty-nine years but has his roots and fondest memories planted in the west.
