Is a collection poems in free writing style. These poems span over three decades of life experiences. These words and my talent is a gift from God meant to be shared. I write almost every day, often the inspiration comes from a simple word, phrase or thought. I have written after being inspired by stories of life, love, pictures and beauty. I often write for those that have lost a love one,to offer hope and healing.

I spend no more than a few minutes on each poem the words flow and then fade. I have written for birthdays weddings and to simply bring a little hope to tired soul. It is with God's Grace ,the love and support of family and friends I share these words from within with the world. This collection Whispers: Words from Within is the first collection of seventy poems. I wrote my first poem at thirteen,this year I will be Fifty.

I hope these words will inspire others to share their God given talents with the world. Just imagine What the world could be if we all shared a little more hope.

Autorenporträt

Kelly J. Dishman was born August 21, 1970

The son of James & Delma Dishman one of four children. He grew up in Spencer Tennessee a small rual community. His family ran a small country store on the court house square. His family was active in local politics, that would lure him later in life.

His father taught him about the great outdoors, and his mother taught him about the wanders and beauty of all Gods creation.

Kelly began writing at the early age of thirteen. Mostly of young love at first then the natural world and the true lessons of life.

In 1991 he would have a close brush with death by an illness. Later after his recovery He would Marry the love of his life, Taralyn Shockley in 1992. Just two years later he entered politics. In 1998 he would at 26 become the Youngest County Executive ever elected in the State of Tennessee. In 2006 both Taralyn and Kelly would recive a special gift their son Robert. in all Kelly would spend 24 years in public service. He experienced my changes but the one constant thing that kept him grounded was his writing.

Now nearing 50 he has decided to share some of his work with the world.
