Pine suggests seeking a life free from fear and guilt. With the Moon as his ally, he expresses his truth, without causing pain to the others. He doesn't take their words and reactions personally. He does not feel for them, but with them. He gives his best even in his encounter with the Tree of Evil. He questions, but does not criticize or reject. He makes his own choices and takes responsibility for them. He's not a Tree Like He Should, he doesn't drink coffee with the Parrots and he doesn't do well in Tree Lessons. He listens carefully to the stories of others while resisting the rules set by the petty tyrants around him. An allegorical narrative, for older children, teenagers and adults, takes us on a journey of search without fear, towards self-awareness and freedom.
