Everything you are going to read on these pages is the truth. I have no reason to try to make up stories or embellish the facts but have presented everything as it is and/or happened.
Being trapped in the past can leave us with feelings of guilt, unforgiveness, shame and bitterness. How do we deal with this? Choices made by us in many circumstances do not help.

To the believer, the only help available to us is Jesus Christ; regrettably satan (the deceiver), will always try to stay hidden and work in the background.

One Sunday evening, after church I was on my way to the counselling room to fetch my wife when a young woman stopped me and asked me to pray for her. My reply was: "Perhaps you would prefer a woman to pray for you?" She replied: "No. I'm a student and I cannot manage my time and money."

I asked her to come to the counselling room with me so that my wife could also be a part of the ministry. Before we began the ministry, I asked her to re-commit her life and was she okay with it?

She said yes, she would like to. I led her in prayer and at the end of it I added the following, which she repeated: "I will say to satan and his demons that I want nothing to do with you. Jesus Christ is Lord and Master of my life." At this, a deep man's voice came out of her saying: "Leave me alone." I never expected this to happen and being a novice called for back-up to help us in ministry. Eventually we had a break-through and she was set free.

This was my introduction to the ministry. Her problem was identified as sexual abuse, incest and molestation, and the handicap of not being able to control our time and money always shows up when someone has been traumatised one way or another.

On another occasion a young woman came to us for ministry. When she arrived, her eyes were grey. As we began to minister to her, they became emerald green and when we began the ministry a man's voice came out of her saying: "Who do you think you are?" Again, we applied the same principle.

Choices are choices and decisions are decisions. The challenge is always there and so are the consequences of life's decisions and struggles. Good or bad, there are consequences for both. If there is a demon, then there is a satan. If there is a satan, there are fallen angels (demons), and if they exist, then there are angels and a God who loves us.

Somebody once said to me: "There are some things we don't talk about." I will add to this: "There are some things we shouldn't do", and one of them is poor choices, which could follow us and our descendants for four generations where they could suffer from depression, destruction and even suicide. We have seen it all in ministry, from satanism down to suicidal tendencies, self-mutilation, the will of the deceased being stolen and inheritances plundered.

When confronted by a crisis, and after doing everything we can (with no success), we tend to cry out to God for help and sometimes blame Him for our incompetence or poor decision making.

As you read this book, remember that a poor decision is the foundation which will produce poverty, a poor self-image, alcoholism, no ambition, compromises in life, guilt, anguish, bitterness, unforgiveness of self, suicidal tendencies plus a whole host of other issues. "Who Are You Dining With?" will lay a firm foundation so that you can walk in freedom.
