Autorenporträt

Candice M Wiester was born and raised in Michigan. She graduated from Glen Lake High School and went on to Michigan Technological University to study Electrical Engineering. She married her chemistry tutor and they moved to Illinois where Candice completed her education in the teaching of biology and received a Bachelor of Arts. She began teaching in 1972 and has taught every age from two years old to seniors in high school. She earned her Master of Arts in Science Teaching from SUNY in Albany, New York. While living in Ohio they had a horse farm where they bred, trained and showed horses in jumping. She retired in 2008 and lives on a wildlife preserve in south central Texas with her husband, Jim. They have three children and six grandchildren. Candice enjoys the peace and quiet at her new home where she likes to walk her two dogs, garden and write books. She has published two children's books Jinglebell Grows Up and Jeffrey the Hero of Morriston Meadows.
