Erik Weir founded Weir Capital Management in San Francisco in 1999 after a successful career at Merrill Lynch and Donaldson, Lufkin, & Jenerette. Weir speaks nationally on topics such as entrepreneurism, film, and goal setting. Under his direction, WCM Global Wealth, LLC. was recognized as one of the fastest-growing businesses in South Carolina two times. His firm WTA has marketed, financed, and produced faith-based films and books, including three New York Times bestsellers. Weir executive produced several films, including Unbroken: Path to Redemption, in conjunction with Universal 1440 Entertainment.

Weir has developed hundreds of millions of real estate in the US and is now expanding to Western Europe. Erik is the principal of WCM Global Wealth, a firm that serves more than fifty families ranging from successful business owners to several families listed on the Forbes billionaires list. WCMGW provides a unique approach to money management with a focus on alternative assets. Weir is a life-long student who has earned degrees and certificates from Georgia State University and Harvard Extension School.
