A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, the author and his wife, Anne, have four children and a baker's dozen "grandies." Much of his career was spent with two companies, most recently as president of the Zig Ziglar Corporation in Dallas, Texas. He was instrumental in developing the Ziglar corporate training division and other business activities.
