Breakfast was being served in the main dining hall, a huge and ornate room on the ground floor. The settings were at a long u-shaped table in the banqueting style. There were a handful of people grouped together at the head of the table and as they got closer, Suzi saw several of the other girls from the slave auction collared like herself and eating from bowls on the floor. Charley found place settings for Perry and herself and tied Suzi's lead to a ring on the wall, next to two full bowls. "Eat!" Charley commended her. "You'll need your strength for later."
