Tara Mackey is the author of "Cured by Nature: How to Heal from the Inside Out, Find Happiness and Discover Your True Self" (Skyhorse Publishing, 2/2016). Mackey has been named a "powerful voice in the smart, sexy, sustainable movement" by Coco Eco Magazine and is a honoree for Woman of the Year by San Diego Magazine. Tara is a frequent contributor to Mind Body Green and her work has been featured in Teen Vogue,Glamour Magazine,Travel and Leisure Magazine, Essence Magazine, Well+Good, Thoughtfully Magazine, Brides Magazine and many more magazines, podcasts, blogs and radio shows. Tara is a frequent guest on San Diego Living on The CW and PIX11 News in NY. She has a background in Psychology and Genetics but ultimately left her position at Weill Cornell Medical College to travel to California and explore natural healing, yoga and meditation.
